ACT Club Match Nov 2024

ACT CLUB MONTHLY MATCH REPORT – 23 November 2024

This was the last ACT club match for 2024 and the match was shot at 200 yards. We had six shooters in attendance, locals Alex Chrys and John Huckle, Dave Wright from Orange and Chris Clarke, Dave Dixon and John Babic from Sydney. We put the flags out at around 8am and it was already getting warm. It turned out to be a classic Canberra summer condition, hot, windy and mirage where it was impossible to see the shots on target.

Dave Dixon was best on target A with a 0.677”. John Babic and Chris Clarke were not far behind on 0.722” and 0.726 respectively. Unfortunately, Dave Wright cross fired and had a 2” penalty added to his score. Target B was taken by John Babic with a 0.459” and John Huckle shot a 0.560” for second. Target C and D were taken out by John B and Dave Dixon finished best on target E. The end result was John B first Dave Dixon second and John Huckle in third position.
