Coffs Harbour RF Fly shoot Match Report

It’s Been run and won . The inaugural Coffs Harbour 200yd rimfire fly shoot. The weekend began with a 50mt group shoot. Most of the competition were locals with a few out of towners entering. Typically Bill buchanan took it out followed by myself then Stuart Elliot.
Sunday was a special kind of day producing relatively calm conditions typically suiting a 290+ score. The moisture rising from a soggy ground reduced that a tad. The three winners all shot good 280’s but there was only 1 first place and Tracey Vaina shot like a veteran Fly shooter even though she is still a rookie of sorts. Tracey shot a 287.5 that was 3 points clear of second place Phil Jones and 7 points clear of veteran fly shooter Dane Rasmussen.
Most flys shot. 2 people shot 10 flys each. Junior Hunter Harrison from Silverdale club and newby fly shooter Bill Buchanan local Coffs boy.
Everyone that attended and shot all followed rule 10 and went home happy planning for the first of the Four seasons kicking off in September. Everyone shot a PB. Everyone now has a PB To beat.
