It is with a heavy heart that we advise of the passing of Ann Brummell she passed on Sunday night unexpectedly.

Ann did a great deal for the sport and was a fierce competitor.

Rob has a post on Benchrest Bulletin with more information. Ann Brummell RIP | Benchrest Bulletin

The passing of one of the "originals" of our sport.

Ann earned her entry to the HOF in 1981.

RIP

A great loss to the benchrest community. Supported benchrest at State, National and International level.

Fierce competitor in her day and driving force behind the 2013 World Championships held in Sydney.

Of recent times we have lost Tom Brummell, Max Coady, Dave Billinghurst, Steve Sori and now Ann.

May they all RIP

An honour role of great competitors and members of the benchrest community. May they Rest In Peace, the memories of their commitment to this great sport continue to live in the History of Benchrest Shooting in Australia.

Ann was one of the pioneers of Benchrest in Australia, Hall of Fame inductee #8 and served the sport well. She was also a straight shooter in every sense of the word. May she rest in peace.
