The NBRSA Nationals commenced yesterday, 16th September 2025, with the Unlimited class, which did not feature any Australian participants. This was followed by the Sporter class this morning (17th), which was primarily utilised as a practice round. The Light Varmint at 100 yards event took place shortly thereafter.

In the lead-up to the competition, several practice days were held under hot conditions, with temperatures reaching 35°C. Today’s weather was somewhat more favourable, at 32°C.

Regarding the Australian competitors, Gavin Marshall delivered a strong performance, finishing 11th overall, while Michael Thompson secured 8th place. While there were some mixed results overall, these finishes are noteworthy. The full results are attached for further details.

Fantastic results for you and Gavin these lead up moments will assist the team greatly in the bid to take out the world Championships. Stay with the plan and lead the teams home for a win.

Extremely well done.....

Good shooting to all
