Not new to reloading but new to benchrest.
Currently looking at 6.5x47L build for 500m Fly and wondering if there is a particular brand of benchrest primer that stands out.
Advice on suitable die set would also be appreciated please.

David, the Federal match primers in the red box GM205M or the standard in the blue box are what most would be using. Availability is a bit sporadic. They seem to run out and then come back on the shelves. When you find them, buy a good supply.

Thanks John. Live in rural SA so rely on what's available in Adelaide. Currently Federal Gold GM205M, CCI BR4 and Remington 7 1/2 in BR primers.

Check with Jerome Ziersch at ZCR in Auburn SA. He has a good stock of most things and I know he has primers. Look up the website Ziersch Custom Rifles
