The Teams have been approved by SSAA for WBC17 in St Louis in September as below:
A Team

- Milan Morrell
B Team
- John Babic
- Ean Parsons
- David McKillop
- Gavin Marshall
Reserves and individuals
- Trever Pearson
- Keith Sewell
- Josh Russell
There is no C team this WBC and looks like there may only be an A and B team approved in the future; time will tell.
Let the preparations begin!!
It is disappointing that the SSAA NAtional board has made the decision to not send a third team to the WBC and as far as I know, they have not given us a legitimate reason for doing so. The fact that they made this decision in retrospect, after people have spent good money and qualified for the teams makes it even more bizzare and harder to swallow.
Sending 12 shooters to a WBC is good for our sport as it gives more of us the opportunity to experience shooting against high level competitors and becoming better competitors ourselvses. Teams B and C were never funded and were not a burden of any sort to the SSAA so it begs the question, why was team C cut?
I think that we are all entitled to some sort of explanation.
