Doug Weare Memorial Shoot

The Doug Weare Memorial Shoot will be held in Charleville on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of May 2025.

Friday 2nd of May:

Practice, BBQ tea

ELEy X Shot (Intend for 3 cards of 25 shots, limited to 2 Details). First time shot in Australia, target similar to RBA. Lane draw at 5pm, match will start straight after tea, approx 6pm.

50 metre TRA, Start 8.00am

Match 1 – 3 x 20 shot Prone target rifle issf 50m.

Match 2 – 3 x 20 shot Prone silhouette rifle 50m.

Match 3 – 3 x 20 shot Benchrest TRA (heavy) 50m

Match 4 – 3 x 20 shot Benchrest silhouette rifle TRA 50m

Matches 1 to 4 you can only enter 3 of the 4 (most likely only 3 details)

Match 5 – 40 shot Silhouette match

Sunday 4th of May:

All Range 90m, 50m and 20m TRA Targets – start 8.00am

Match 6 – 3 x 20 shot Prone target rifle.

Match 7 – 3 x 20 shot Prone silhouette rifle.

Match 8 – 3 x 20 shot Benchrest

Match 9 – 3 x 20 shot Benchrest silhouette rifle

Match 10 – Benchrest RBA 50m Heavy Rifle, 75 shot match restricted to two details only. Starts straight after All Range. Presentations after this then RSL for Dinner.

 Firearm licences must be sighted when signing in before using the

 Any shooter not on the QTS Grading can supply their last 5 scores
signed by a witness otherwise competitor will be automatically A
Grade
 The program may be altered at anytime at the club’s discretion
 Protests must be lodged within ten minutes of scores posted
 Doug Weare Benchrest champion is combined scores of Match 3
and 8
 Canteen available all weekend.
 Meals at range Friday and Saturday night.
 Sunday night meal will be at the Charleville RSL
 Camping and accommodation: There is plenty of room for
camping, but limited powered sites available on first come, first
served basis. There are toilets and shower at the range. If you
plan to stay at accommodation in town, then book sooner than
later. It will be a busy weekend in Charleville
