Well it’s been a long time coming and it’s finally here. The CBSC (Colo Benchrest Shooting Club) Range is now officially open. Peter Armstrong, together with Kerry Richards and Jason Armstrong, have worked so hard over the last few years to get the range up and running and the NSW Firearms Registry has finally given them approval to open the range.

For those who haven’t had the chance to visit the range, you will be pleasently suprised. The facilities are first class. The firing line has 27 benches and there are targets at 50, 100, 200 and 300 yards. There is a toilet block close by with showers and ambulant access. There is also a large shed decked out with tables for reloading or cleaning and a commercial kitchen where there will be a canteen operating on match days. There is ample parking and a camping area (no power) for tents or caravans. Camping fee is $10 per person per night which includes BBQ facilities.

Range fees are $35 per day for Members and $45 per day for Non-Members.

Our opening times are 9am to 4pm on both Saturday’s and Sunday’s.

The range is closed on Public Holidays and Long Weekends.

Hope to see you all there soon and hopefully we can get a BR match organized some time soon.

  1. Big shoutout to Peter, Kerry, and Jason Armstrong — the range is finally approved! 🙌

They’ve put in a ton of time, effort, and cash to get this off the ground, and it’s come up awesome. Huge milestone for them and the whole shooting community.

Can’t wait to get out there and shoot a comp soon. Congrats legends!
