I use the Alpha PPC brass and love it. I've shot it for the last 18 months or so including at the WBC with various loads of Vit 133, sometimes very hot, with no sign of pressure on the case and no problem with extraction. I also like the fact there is no need to fireform or hydroform the cases.

As always, for safety reasons, do not start with a hot load. Pay attention to powder manufacturers recommendation. It is very much dependent on your action, barrel, chamber, bullet etc.. what load is acceptable for your particular set up. Start low and gradually increase if required.

I primarily use Teddy actions in both my light and heavy guns.

Sometimes I use Pandas as well.

All barrels are 13 .5 Krieger both light and heavy chambered the same.

Blue federal Primers .

I used to use exclusively BM2 at around 30.3 but have recently began using 8208 at 30.5 which I have found to be a lot more stable and consistent than the BM2.

I am a bit like Les in that if the guns in tune I’ll leave it and focus on the conditions.

With the limited availability of registered matches Club shoots are the best way to shoot in match conditions and are held monthly at various ranges .

Shooting Canberra on a cold winters morning is awesome and a far cry from Australia Day conditions.

Thanks for all the input guys, it gives me a bit more insight in to what everyone is running and how the matches are organised. I attended a 300m club Group shoot at the new range at Colo today and enjoyed it with my 6BR. I will be watching the results from Coffs Harbor this year with interest and hope it a good shoot.

Cheers

Dave
