If you have a Harrell’s Combo press (eg   https://www.6mmbr.com/harrellscombopress.html ) and the handle continually falls forward you may find it very annoying. I did. Here is a little bracket I made up to hold it in place. It requires no mods to the press and you simply remove the bracket if you don’t like it - but it certainly works for me. It is easy enough to make.

The bracket consists of:

  • a 3 inch length of aluminium or stainless.
  • two set screws with flat washers to match the existing holes in the Harrell’s bracket. The existing holes in my unit are ¼ inch NC.
  • one round magnet with a hole in the middle (29mm dia “Everhang” magnet available from Bunnings - which comes with the washer)
  • one countersunk 5mm machine screw with a flat washer and nylock nut.

The photos show how it needs to be mounted.

Dave, I don't currently have a Harrels combo press, I did previously, but I don't remember the handle falling. Just wondering if this is a one off on your press or are they all like this.
