To have something like this a grading system would have to apply to all matches as well with such a small competitor base it will not work. If at the next nationals it is brought up through your delegates who will then take it to the discipline committee it will be reviewed then so a detailed submission through our delegates would be beneficial.
When grading is applied to matches with a small number of competitors everyone gets a trophy it loses the importance of the match and competitors then hover around a certain score so they are at the top of that class, i don't support that personally as a shooter, I think the placing and the method of reward is appropriate at this time. If we had 7000 membership perhaps but we don't last Nationals 38 competitors. Adding extra scoring extra classes, extra medals for new classes adding to the rule book is a task for the organisers and the host club. All positive ideas start with our membership grow our numbers then think about extra classes. Or alternatively organise a shoot and run it with the proposed classes in it and then review the response vs the extra work to run it.
All ideas are good ones......
Shoot small win big
